Ambassador was formed in 1981 when Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee, and Nicole Patterson set out to form the loudest, most hedonistic band on LA’s Sunset Strip. Sixx and Lee later departed over creative differences once Ambassador became a long form improv team at Richmond, VA’s Coalition Theater.
